Everyone will doubt you. The closest people will doubt you. People who don’t even know you will doubt you. You will doubt yourself. But if you’re doing something where you get this type of feedback doesn’t mean that you’re the one with limitations. People will always project their fears and insecurities on you because they can’t comprehend your dream. That doesn’t mean they’re wrong, but it also doesn’t mean they’re right. If you allow them to influence you to the point where you give up, then they were right. Don’t allow someone else keep you from doing what you want.

I’ve had to deal with so much doubt from others because of what I do. “Photography won’t take you anywhere, videography either. And music? Yea right!” goes along the lines of the type of energy that is trying to hold you back. But no, that’s not the energy keeping you back. That’s what’s keeping them back. You aren’t them and they aren’t you. And if they aren’t within the same realm of industry that you aspire to be apart of, there’s no reason to respect an opinion of someone that doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
